The Student Dashboard is an area for students to gain quick access to the most used areas and features of the learning management system.
The learning dashboard is CUSTOMIZABLE for each user. They can move the boxes around and collapse/expand then SAVE the setting so the dashboard remains in that format.
It also includes items such as;
Earned training badges, learning leaders ranking, announcements, assigned learning plans, course links, new course listing, course recommendations, social discussion boards and my training calendar.

Announcements:
Announcements posted here have been posted by a manager or administrator and have been set for the student to view based on location and or job title.
My Courses/Events:
This is an area for quick launching of eLearning courses and or classroom and virtual events. It also displays the status of the item via the legend of "Not Started", In Progress", "Completed", and "Expired".
Discussion Boards:
Discussion boards are added by administrators and are available for students to; view, post to, add to their watch list which will email the student when posts are made to a discussion board that has been added to their "watch list".
Development Plans:
Development plan area will display above My courses, it will display development plans that have been assigned to the student. It will include the plan name, date due, and links to courses or items student is required to complete.
My Calendar:
The My Calendar is an area where current eCourses and events will display and warn student by color of expiring eCourses and events. Students may also use this calendar to add any personal items they want as this calendar is not shared.
